KNIPEX Side-cutting Pliers 35 22 115 Editorial Review
The KNIPEX 35 22 115 Electronics Pliers have garnered a positive reception among users, particularly for professionals and hobbyists engaged in delicate work such as electronics and jewelry repair. Customers have praised the exceptional precision and fine engineering that these pliers offer compared to less expensive alternatives. Users describe the smooth operation of the pliers as akin to the mechanics of a Swiss watch, elevating their experience and making them a joy to handle. The product's design is tailored for meticulous tasks, with a box joint hinge that minimizes side movement and allows for a slimmer profile. Users appreciate the virtually flat jaws with micro-serrations, which facilitate a firm grip on small components without causing damage. The intentional 0.5mm gap along the length of the jaws is noteworthy; it’s designed to provide even pressure on electrical ribbons, reflecting thoughtful engineering rather than a flaw. While some reviews mention concerns about potential rusting, enthusiasts note that proper maintenance—such as keeping the tools clean and dry—should mitigate this issue. Additionally, some users have pointed out that the jaws don't close perfectly flat, but this characteristic is acknowledged as a design feature. Overall, the KNIPEX 35 22 115 pliers deliver on their promise of quality and precision, making them a worthy investment for those requiring reliable tools for fine work. Many users express that these pliers significantly enhance their workflow and are expected to last for years, justifying the initial higher cost. **
