Tetra Editorial Review
The Tetra Aquarium External Filter EX 1000 Plus appears to be a polarizing product among users, showcasing a blend of positive features and notable drawbacks. Many customers appreciate its performance in providing clean and clear water, with specific mentions of how it has transformed murky aquariums into pristine habitats for fish. One user with a 170-liter cichlid setup noted that the water quality improved significantly after just one week of use, achieving clarity akin to glass. However, the filter isn't without its issues. Some users reported frequent cleaning cycles, expressing disappointment that it sometimes fails to maintain a Consistent flow rate, leading to a decline in performance within just a few weeks. One reviewer specifically remarked on the challenges they faced during initial setup, including difficulties in starting the filter, which required manual assistance like sucking water through the outlet pipe. Despite these issues, users praised the filter for its quiet operation, easy setup, and quality materials. The overall sentiment suggests that while it may work effectively under certain conditions, the Tetra EX 1000 Plus may require more frequent maintenance than some users anticipated. **
