QRD Controllers Editorial Review
The QRD Stellar V3 Handheld Controller for the Nintendo Switch OLED has garnered mixed feedback from users, highlighting both its strengths and some shortcomings. The controller excels in its core functionality, especially for competitive gaming, resulting in high ratings from satisfied customers. Many users have praised its responsive clicky buttons and comfortable ergonomics, making it a suitable choice for games that require quick reflexes, such as Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. The added RGB lighting has been well-received, providing a visually appealing element for gamers playing in darker environments. Furthermore, vibration feedback has been noted for enhancing the immersive gaming experience without being overpowering. However, the controller does come with its drawbacks. Some users have noted that it does not fully measure up to other controllers, specifically citing issues like less travel in the triggers and a less tactile feel compared to classic models like the GameCube controller. Moreover, there were reports of functionality issues where the controller illuminated without connecting properly to the Console, leading to dissatisfaction among some customers. Overall, while the QRD Stellar V3 presents a strong option for Nintendo Switch players seeking a visually striking, competitive controller, potential buyers should weigh the reported drawbacks against its benefits. **
