Nutritionist's Take
Berkley Jensen Contact Lens Solution is primarily a sterile multi-purpose solution designed for cleaning and storing soft contact lenses, rather than a nutritional product. Therefore, it does not provide any nutritional benefits and is not relevant to dietary needs. Its formulation typically includes ingredients such as sodium chloride and preservatives that are effective for lens maintenance but do not significantly impact overall health. Potential drawbacks include the risk of eye irritation for those with sensitive eyes or allergies to certain preservatives used in the formulation. Additionally, the solution is not suitable for individuals who use rigid gas permeable (RGP) lenses. Consumers should prioritize quality by ensuring they choose reputable brands to prevent complications associated with poor lens hygiene.
berkley jensen Soaking Solutions Editorial Review
The Berkley Jensen Contact Lens Solution has garnered a generally positive reception among users, who appreciate its value, effectiveness, and convenience. Priced at approximately $20 for three 16-ounce bottles, this multi-purpose solution is seen as an excellent alternative to name-brand options, with many users noting that the larger size of the bottles extends their usability significantly. Customers appreciate the inclusion of a lens case, eliminating the need to clean out old cases periodically. Users have reported that the solution feels gentle on the eyes and effectively cleans and hydrates contact lenses, though some have pointed out that it may not provide as much moisture as other brands. Despite this, many are satisfied with its performance for short-term wear and find it to be budget-friendly. The convenience of a flip-top lid and an easily removable safety seal has also been highlighted as a user-friendly feature. Overall, Berkley Jensen achieves a balance of quality and affordability, and its effectiveness rivals that of more established brands in the contact lens solution market. Customers feel reassured by the manufacturer's money-back guarantee, making them willing to try the product without any substantial risk. **
