The printer can also be powered by Battery Size(6) AA Alkaline or an Optional Rechargeable Lithium-Ion Battery. The printed labels are both water and chemical proof, and the vinyl tags can hold up pretty well against hydraulic oil and grease. The fabric ones can withstand harsh chemicals like detergents.
