Park Tool Grease ASC-1 Editorial Review
If you're looking for an anti-seize compound to prevent corrosion on your bike's threaded fasteners, the Park Tool ASC-1 is an excellent choice. It's especially important for carbon components, but can be used anywhere you have a threaded fastener. It's not suitable for use on the chain, chainring, or cassette, but works wonders on the threads of pedals and other non-moving parts. The compound is easy to apply, with a smooth texture and no unpleasant smell. It holds up well in a variety of conditions and is less likely to rust than using PPL-1 or grease. Many customers have reported positive experiences with the product, preventing seizing or corrosion in their bike parts. The ASC-1 received high praise as a "life saver" for titanium parts and is Considered an industry reference. Overall, the Park Tool ASC-1 is a reliable and worthwhile investment for anyone looking to protect their bike's threaded fasteners from corrosion.
