Magewell Internal TV Tuner & Capture Cards 32040 Editorial Review
Magewell USB Capture HDMI Plus 32040 HDMI to USB Capture, 2K is designed for streamlined video capture, allowing high-quality input from HDMI sources while downsampling to USB. Users appreciate its plug-and-play capability, which makes it compatible with various systems, including Windows 7 and Linux. Despite a noted delay when capturing fast-paced action games, the product performs admirably for live streaming and video conferences with great picture quality. The device does not strip HDCP, which is an important aspect to consider for compatibility with specific devices. Additionally, while some users found the USB cable short, overall experiences indicate satisfaction with the device's performance across different cameras and setups.
