AmScope Lenses PA4XK-V300 Editorial Review
The AmScope 4X Plan Achromatic Objective Lens comes with a plastic threaded sleeve. However, it does not come with instructions for attaching it. The lens is known as a finite objective and requires positioning 160mm from the camera sensor. To attach it to a Canon camera, you need an RMS to M42 / 20mm ring adapter and M42 to Canon adapter ring. Extension tubes are necessary to use the maximum range of approach. A set of bellows really helps to shorten the overall distance from lens to sensor to lower the magnification to 2 times rather than 4.
