The KYB SM5542 Mount Kit is a good replacement for the old, worn out strut mounts in your vehicle. It helps reduce noise and provide a smoother ride. These mounts are sold individually, so make sure to purchase two if you're replacing them on both sides. The kit has enough parts for both left and right side, which includes (1) strut mount and (1) spring seat per-side. The mount kit can be used with a car with a sport suspension. However, it is important to note that it does use a different sized nut than the OEM mount nuts. Make sure to tighten them down properly to avoid squeaking. If the mount is tightened and still squeaks, then it may need to be replaced with an OE mount. Some users have reported experiencing squeaking after a few weeks of use. In those cases, replacing the KYB mount with the Monroe 905985 fixed the issue.
