Security Camera Outdoor/Home

The DEKCO 2K WiFi Surveillance Security Cameras offer good value for homeowners looking for a feature-rich outdoor security solution. Users appreciate the camera's 2K resolution, which results in sharp and clear daytime images, as well as solid infrared night vision that holds up well even in total darkness. The added built-in floodlight enhances night visibility, making it an attractive choice for monitoring properties at night. The Pan-Tilt-Zoom (PTZ) functionality is a standout feature, offering a rotation of 350° horizontally and 90° vertically, allowing for extensive coverage with just one unit. Many users have reported finding the app easy to navigate and set up. However, the cameras only support a 2.4GHz WiFi connection, which may limit some users, especially those with newer 5GHz routers. On the downside, several customers have experienced issues with the storage capabilities, primarily related to microSD cards. Complaints include cards sporadically not being detected, leading to worries over whether the camera is reliably recording footage. Notifications can also be overly sensitive, triggering alerts from minor movements like tree branches, which might frustrate users seeking a more tailored experience. Some users noted issues with the app's polish, indicating that while it functions well enough, it could be improved. In terms of support, some customers reported positive interactions with the company when problems arose, receiving replacements without hassle and generally praised the customer service that enhanced their experience with the cameras. Overall, the DEKCO 2K cameras are regarded as a solid choice for individuals seeking an affordable security solution without mandatory subscription fees and with useful features like remote pan-tilt functionality. However, potential buyers should be aware of the possible limitations surrounding the storage options and the sensitivity of motion alerts. ###
