Insectsales.com Beneficial Insects Editorial Review
If you are looking for a unique and fascinating pet to have in your home or classroom, try a live Desert Ironclad Beetle. This Blue Death Feigning Beetle is educational and fun to watch. The beetles are easy to care for and can live for up to several years. They are not able to climb glass but can climb rough surfaces, so providing decor that goes to the top of their enclosure is perfect. Silica sand works best for this type of beetle, but you should rinse it first before use. These beetles do not destroy their cage too much, primarily hiding under leaves. It can be just one beetle per enclosure. For any US resident except those in Hawaii, these beetles can be shipped and kept anywhere in the US.
