Monroe Shocks Editorial Review
These shocks seem to be of good quality and work well in keeping the ride height level, especially when towing. They are easy to install and provide noticeable improvements in towing. However, some customers have reported that they are squeaky and noisy, making teeth-grinding noises on bumps, and some have even reported that they are difficult to tolerate. Some customers have also commented that they make the vehicle sound worn out and unserviced. Moreover, some reviewers have reported the shocks as slightly stiffer than the stock shocks, which can make speed bumps feel a little like rocks.
