Product Details
- The Aiphone C-123LW ChimeCom single-door answering system with dual master intercoms enables audio communication with visitors prior to authorizing access to the building with the door release button. The dual master intercoms provide the master intercom operator with increased control over a large area or multiple rooms. When a visitor presses the door intercom's call button, the master intercom emits a two-tone chime to alert the master intercom operator. Each master intercom has both a push-to-talk button and a pull cord that can be used to initiate audio transmission to the door intercom. Once the cord or button is released, sound from the door intercom is transmitted immediately to the master intercom, automatically shutting off after 20 seconds. The door-release button on the master intercoms works with an electric strike (sold separately) to remotely unlock the entrance for the visitor. At any time, the push-to-talk button can be pressed or the chain pulled to listen through the door intercom. Housing is white plastic for the master intercoms and black plastic for the door intercom. The audio volume on the master intercom is adjustable. The system is hardwired to be powered by a 6V power supply (sold separately) but can be powered by four C batteries (sold separately) to facilitate installation where power outlets are not accessible.SpecificationsOverall dimensions (master intercom)4-3/4 x 3-7/16 x 1-1/8 inches/120 x 88 x 29 mm (H x W x D)*Overall dimensions (door intercom)7-1/2 x 5-1/8 x 1-3/4 inches/190 x 130 x 44 mm (H x W x D)*Door release contact ratingNormally open dry contact 50V at 1AMaximum door distance from master intercom245 ft. using a 22 AWG wire, 490 ft. using an 18 AWG wire (sold separately)Compatible wires (door to master intercom)Aiphone 822202 or 821802 (sold separately)Power requirementsFour C batteries (sold separately) or Aiphone SKK-620B 6V power supply (sold separately)*H is height, the vertical distance from the lowest to highest point; W is width, the horizontal distance from left to right; D is depth, the horizontal distance from front to back.Door intercom systems allow an occupant of a building to communicate remotely with a visitor through at least one door intercom and master intercom.
