MLB 2005 - PlayStation

**** MLB 2005 for PlayStation has garnered mixed reviews from gamers, revealing a blend of nostalgia and frustration. On one hand, players appreciate the game's ease of use and its appeal as a two-player experience, often highlighting it as one of the best available titles for the Console. Many Consider it a collector's item, indicating a lasting fondness and frequent playability. However, not all feedback is entirely positive. Critics have pointed out shortcomings in the roster accuracy, noting issues such as the inclusion of outdated player information, including Barry Bonds’ absence from the game and players like A-Rod still being represented as Rangers despite real-world changes. Furthermore, the gameplay mechanics, particularly relating to home runs, received negative remarks, as players have found it unrealistic that players with significant home run records struggle to achieve similar feats in the game. Overall, while MLB 2005 provides an enjoyable baseball experience and is praised for its multiplayer capabilities, its flaws in roster management and gameplay realism have left some fans wanting more. **
